Event Details

9:00am – 9:30am - Registration and networking

9:30am – 11:00am - Hit the Road: 2nd Gen Content for Travel/Tourism/Hospitality Companies

Panel discussion: Keeping content fresh & compelling – how much, how often, how personal, and how to supplement. The genesis for this idea was wondering how, if every service-related company is writing destination- based content to use on Twitter, to both set yourself apart and avoid reinventing the wheel. What is 2nd generation content development for the travel/tourism/hospitality business? How can you maximize multiple locations without being redundant (or too micro)? How do you scale?

Panelists:

Russell Sauve, The Fox Theatre

Michael Erickson, Fifth Group Restaurants

Nick Ayres, Intercontinental Hotels Group

Ashley Payne, Georgia Aquarium

(Moderated by Susan Barry, Hive Marketing and The Frugal Hostess)

11:00am – 12:00pm - Table Talk: Social Media Tips and Tricks After the panel discussion, the group will break out and discuss/workshop favorite tips and tricks for using social media in their businesses, with help from the panelists.
