LIVE SONG REVIEWS

Our panel of experts will review FULL songs from each Meetup attendee who purchases a VIP Ticket, which includes guaranteed seating and one-on-one input on their full song from our panel of experts. Music180 will also feature the best song that is reviewed during this meetup in our next Pro Newsletter, which Music180 sends to over 300 of the world's top producers, songwriters, publishers and labels each month.

Our Panel of Pros will include:

David Hodges, Co-founder of Evanescence, Top Producer/Songwriter

David is a multi-Grammy and BMI Pop Award winning writer/producer/artist. As former writer and keyboardist of Evanescence, he and his band mates took home Best New Artist as well as the Best Hard Rock Performance trophy for their hit “Bring Me To Life” in 2004. Evanescenceʼs debut album Fallen sold over 15 million copies.

While busy working on his own music, David has also been writing and producing songs for various artists. In 2004, he wrote and produced Kelly Clarksonʼs biggest worldwide single to date, “Because Of You”, which appeared on Clarksonʼs 11 million-selling album Breakaway and garnered him the 2007 BMI Song Of The Year honor. The song was covered by Reba McEntire as the first single off her Duets album, and quickly rose up the country charts in 2007 becoming McEntire's 30th Top 2 country single. Also in 2007 he worked with Celine Dion (“This Time”) and the Backstreet Boys (“Something That I Already Know”).

In 2008, David had a hit as writer producer for American Idol / Jive recording artist David Archuleta and his song "Crush." The song reached number 2 on the Billboard top 100 and was the highest chart debut of any single since January of 2007. Also on the radio in 2008, Hodges wrote the hit single "What About Now" on Daughtry's 2006 eponymous album, which sold 5 million records worldwide and went to number 1. David took home a BMI pop award for both singles in 2010 (adding to his previous 3 BMI pop awards).

David also co-wrote "Open Up Your Eyes" and "Supernatural" with Daughtry from his sophomore platinum album Leave This Town. Hodges made his first impact in the country world with superstar artist Carrie Underwood where he co-wrote "What Can I Say" from her record Play On which went to number one on the Billboard charts and sold over 1 million copies. David also co-wrote pop smash and first single "Wanted" for Jessie James. David has recently been co-writing with Carrie Underwood, Christina Perri and many other top artists.
