IT Directors, Systems Administrators, Architects, and Project Managers will have an opportunity to learn about implementation of new IT Technology; how these projects impact business; and what impact these projects have on company personnel.
Eric Ziegler from the Vanguard Group will address the integration of Web 2.0 and Social Media utilizing Enterprise 2.0. Enterprise 2.0 allows employees to collaborate more effectively.
Mr. Ziegler is a Senior Manager in Vanguard's Information Technology Division. Mr. Ziegler has been with Vanguard for 13 years with prior Vanguard experience including leading the development of Vanguard's intranet portal and as a senior systems architect providing direction and design for a variety of corporate applications. He currently leads the Enterprise 2.0 program at Vanguard, implementing E2.0 solutions supporting collaboration, mobility, and rich communications.
Joseph Pedano from Evolve IP will discuss Virtual Desktop Integration (VDI). It has been suggested by an industry expert that VDI touches all professionals, and impacts system performance. Evolve IP will provide and discuss an example of a client's successful incorporation of this technology and the impact on its company technically.
Mr. Pedano's expertise lies in building and maintaining next-generation networks that provide value-added services to customers seeking advanced products and services. As Vice President of Data Engineering for Evolve IP, he is responsible for the overall data architecture for customer and internal networks, as well as the efficient operation and performance management of those networks. He is well-versed in networking technologies, Internet topologies, and industry-best operations practices.
