Current 8th and 9th grade students (and their families) interested in applying to Brooklyn Prospect Charter School for admission to our fall 2014 9th and 10th grades, are invited to attend a high school information session at the school facility.
Parents and students will gather together in the Commons for a welcome from High School Principal Kim Raccio. From there, students attending this event will progress to the first of 3 "high school taster" lessons, held in classrooms throughout the school. Each lesson is 20 minutes long and will provide an opportunity for students to meet the subject teacher, learn a bit about the subject and ask questions. Parents in attendance will remain in the Commons during this time for a parent-oriented presentation and Q&A session. Parents and students will be reunited for a final wrap-up at the conclusion of the session.
This event is an identical high school information session to the one that will be held later this academic year, on January 27th, 2014.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This information session is geared to current 8th and 9th grade students and their parents. Brooklyn Prospect does not enroll new students after the fall of 10th grade.
