High School Dance Intensive 1/26/13

Oklahoma City University's Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Arts Management is offering the High School Dance Intensive for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors. The workshop includes tap, jazz, and ballet technique classes, as well as a triple threat/musical theater dance class. Workshop classes are kept small to ensure personal attention and to provide a unique OCU dance experience. The workshop runs from 9am to 5:30pm for a funfilled, instense day of dance.

Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment
The Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment was established by Dean John Bedford and Chairman Jo Rowan to educate, train and prepare dancers and managers for the American entertainment industry through degree programs offered by Dance and Arts Management Departments. Dance training emphasizes tap, jazz, musical theater dance, rhythm tap and ballet (as used in musical theater).
The School offers the following degrees: Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance Performance, Bachelor of Science in Dance Management, Bachelor of Science in American Dance Pedagogy, Bachelor of Science in Entertainment Business and Master in Fine Arts in Dance.
Admission to all dance degree programs is by selective audition.
The School is located in the Edith Kinney Gaylord Center, a world-class facility for teaching arts management and dance.
Former students and graduates can be found performing, teaching, or managing throughout the world, from Broadway and L.A. to Tokyo and beyond.
