Can I bring my child(ren)?
While HI Family Day is geared towards adults, all registrants will have the option to bring their children 1 to 12 years old if they wish to participate in the free, concurrent child care and a children's educational program. We will accept all children, with or without medical needs.
This wonderful on-site service will be provided by certified Child Life specialists from The Division of Child Life along with hospital volunteers. The Division of Child Life is committed to the practice of family centered care by promoting play, education, developmental and psychosocial support. Lunch will be provided - however parents are encouraged to bring a packed lunch for their child(ren) if they have allergy concerns or on a special diet. Also note that any medications must be administered by the parent(s) attending the conference.
Infants younger than 1 may stay with the parent(s) during the conference.
If you wish to utilize this service, please mark in the registration form that your child(ren) will be participating. We will send you a separate email requesting additional information.
