Did you know that mental health issues are a growing concern on college campuses and a leading impediment to academic success? How can a parent recognize a serious concern? When has partying become a problem, or weight loss an indication of an eating disorder? Recognizing when to step in and get your child the help he needs is vital to your child’s success in college and beyond. In this workshop we will talk about the most prevalent mental health issues found on college campuses; differentiate between homesickness, anxiety, and depression; discuss resources and support available to parents and students.
