Join Heroku for the London Fork-a-thon, a hack-a-thon-like event (hands-on and live coding), where Heroku engineers will help you to fork your app to the Europe region and answer any questions you may have.
On 24 April, Heroku announced the release of the Heroku Europe region in public beta. The Europe region runs apps from datacenters located in Europe and offers increased performance for customers located in that region. Come fork your app and see what kinds of gains you can get for your users.

Heroku is a multi-language PaaS designed for developers. By abstracting away the infrastructure, Heroku lets developers focus on their application and not on servers. Using known tools like Git and the command line, developers can instantly and continuously deploy their application to the cloud. By leveraging a broad catalog of add-ons, developers can accelerate their development and quickly add features to their applications.
