"Here Comes The Sun" The Spiritual and Musical Journey of George Harrison The 4th Annual GEORGE HARRISON Birthday Show GODFREY TOWNSEND BAND Plus Joshua Greene's stellar narration, rare film, and photos

George Harrison was admired for his commitment to spirituality, which he believed could improve lives and protect the planet. His post-Beatles songs reflect that conviction and are as relevant today as they were 30 years ago. Through music, visuals, and commentary about his journey of self-discovery, tonight's tribute event honors George Harrison, his music, and his principles.

Joshua M. Greene, narrator, is an acclaimed writer and author of the bestselling book Here Comes The Sun: The Spiritual and Musical Journey of George Harrison. Greene is an instructor at Hofstra University and an Emmy Award-nominated filmmaker. After 13 years of yoga study, including one year in India, he became Senior Vice President of Global Affairs at Ruder Finn, an international communications firm, and now lectures at universities nationwide.

Guitarist and vocalist Godfrey Townsend has played with some of the greatest names in rock 'n' roll, including John Entwistle (bassist of The Who), Jack Bruce (bassist and vocalist of Cream), Dave Mason (guitarist and vocalist of Traffic), and Alan Parsons. He is the leader of the Godfrey Townsend Band.

Guitarist and vocalist Tommy Williams has served as musical director and guitarist for Debbie Gibson (including the No. 1 hit "Lost In Your Eyes," three albums, and two world tours). He has performed with Tommy Shaw of Styx, Cheap Trick's Rick Nielsen, Robin Zander and Tom Petersson, and Ellis Hooks (with Muzz Skillings of Living Colour and Leroy Clouden of Steely Dan). His latest release is Two Hundred (2003).

Bassist and vocalist John Montagna is one of New York's finest bass guitarists. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he has worked with Francis Dunnery, Amel Larrieux, and A Girl Called Eddy, among others.

Drummer Mike Bellusci claims his introduction to being a musician was watching The Beatles on Ed Sullivan. He began as a guitarist and switched to drums at the age of 10. After playing in many local bands, he accepted the opportunity to portray Ringo with the touring company of the Broadway show Beatlemania. He also is a former member of the Beatles tribute band Strawberry Fields, working with them for eight years.
