Evacuteer.org and the City of New Orleans are proud to present the 2011 “Hello Hurricane Season Summit” that gathers citizens to review and renew our commitment to public safety and individual preparedness.

Breakout sessions will explore personal hurricane preparedness (American Red Cross), neighborhood association best practices (Broadmoor Improvement Association) and updates on shelters in northern Louisiana (State's Department of Children and Family Services). A community discussion based off of the biggest questions and answers from the breakout sessions will be moderated by Lucas Diaz, the director of the City's Office of Neighborhood engagement.
