HELLENIC EDUCATION AND LANGUAGE PROGRAM - Parent Teacher Organization
On behalf of the H.E.L.P. School P.T.O., I would like to thank you in advance for supporting our mission to improve the lives of our children, through this School. Since the inception of our school, the generous support of Mr. Athanasiades has provided a home for our program, at the Athanasiades Cultural Foundation.
We are deeply indebted to Mr. Athanasiades as he is the Honoree for the evening, a prime example of a Hellene giving back to the community with generosity and love.
We invite you to join us for gourmet appetizers and unlimited wine and beer, in the accompaniment of wonderful music provided by the talented Petros Klampanis. We are excited to include a silent auction with art from our students and a numerous selection of raffle prizes. The event is co-sponsored by Thymari Restaurant.
We will be happy to see you in person on April 28th and share with you more information and experiences of our program.

The Hellenic Education and Language Program (H.E.L.P.) opened its doors to our community in January 2010. We would like to give you the opportunity to be involved in the development of the school by inviting you to participate in this year’s fundraiser.
The Hellenic Education and Language Program (H.E.L.P.) is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3), community-based initiative of the Hellenic Diaspora in America. The purpose of the Program is to provide an in-depth Hellenic education in all aspects of learning, including:
• Hellenic history
• Hellenic language – both modern and ancient
• Exploration of Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey
• Mommy and Me programs
• Educational activities and games on Hellenism
• Art instruction focusing on Ancient Greece
• Theatrical instruction
• Instruction on the contributions Hellenism has made to the world throughout history.
H.E.L.P. also has multiple classes for students on various levels of the Hellenic Language.
We believe our students deserve every advantage to enhance their learning potential. The goal of our fundraiser is to allow the survival of the program and to facilitate in the purchase of necessary materials and equipment that will support and compliment our programs.
As our new school continues to grow, we are planning to add new programs, such as:
• Technological Inventions of Our Ancestors
• Great Works of Literature from Ancient Greece
• Pankration and Athletic Activities
• Adult Chorus
• Adult Language Classes
• Home Economics Class, and more.
We ask for your support so that together, we can continue to educate our children and grow our school of Hellenism.
Thank you in advance for your kind consideration.
