Born and raised in Oakland, California. Kirk has experienced a wealth of knowledge from life in the inner city, prep school in the suburbs, college life in the south and even a successful four-year stint in the Marine Corps. Always viewing life through the eyes of a comic, Kirk blends all of his life experiences together into a storytelling brand of comedy that has been likened to Bill Cosby with a Richard Pryor twist. Having already opened for such stars as Paul Mooney, Damon Wayans, Bobby Slayton, Tommy Davidson, Charlie Murphy and the Whispers, Kirk has been labeled on of the Bay Area's fastest rising young stars and has even gained recognition as on of the top 10 comics in the Bay Area (Karma 777 Film Works & Productions).

Stroy delivers a high energy standup routine and concludes his set with a musical parody. His unique voice and brilliant blend of self deprecation, storytelling, and celebrity roasting has provided him with the opportunity to work with Dave Chappelle, Daniel Tosh, and Sarah Silverman. Equipped with his Afro pick, Stroy performs with passion and has enough energy to wake any crowd up. Jamie Masada, the owner of the Hollywood Laugh Factory and the man who gave Richard Pryor one of his first comedy sets in Los Angeles, says of Stroy, "You are the next big thing and one day you will be making 20 million a picture."
