The Circle of Red
cordially invites you to a heart healthy talk with
Dr. Pamela Marcovitz, Director of the Ministrelli Women’s Heart
Center at Beaumont Health System.
This free event is open to the community. Light refreshments provided.
This is your chance to ask about your risk factors, and what you can do to prevent heart disease. We will also feature a nutritionist to help manage portion control and give you good eating tips!
What is the Circle of Red?
The American Heart Association’s Circle of Red is a dynamic, passionate, and powerful group of women who have the influence and resources to significantly impact our community and put an end the No. 1 killer of women - heart disease. The Circle of Red plays an important role in the Go Red For Women campaign.
What is Go Red For Women?
Go Red For Women is the American Heart Association’s solution to save women’s lives. Too many women die each year because they are unaware that heart disease is their No. 1 killer. One in three women suffer in silence, and almost one woman dies every minute of this largely preventable disease. Go Red challenges women to know their risk for heart disease, take action to reduce their personal risk and use American Heart Association tools to lead heart-healthy lives.
