My dear Artists and Friends,
we found an amazing space with a profound and reverberating acoustic. It's right here in Berkeley, close to Samavesha Studio and... here we are, presenting
on Saturday March 9, at 7:30pm,
the first acoustic concert inside the resonant Berkeley Rose Labyrinth,
featuring Cornelius Boots on Shakuhachi (zen flutes), Mark Deutsch on Bazantar (the five-string double bass with four additional drone strings and 29 sympathetic strings), Laura Inserra on Hang (the resonating percussive sonic sculpture).
We truly believe that this is going to be an unforgettable evening, in a powerful space, with ancient and modern instruments of sacred and unheard sounds. We wish you to be there with us.
