The Healthy Heritage Movement™
our heritage ● our health ● our movement
Phyllis Y. Clark, Founder/CEO
Our MISSION is to eliminate health disparities in the African American community by providing culturally relevant wellness programs and resources, peer navigation and advocacy training. Our VISION is to serve as the premier provider of knowledge and tools, to help end the behavior that contributes to increased high-risk, life-threatening health conditions that plague African Americans. We provide health education programs to decrease the disproportionate number of African Americans affected by chronic diseases: Cancer, Heart Disease, Diabetes, Hypertension, and Obesity.
We believe in EDUCATION~PREVENTION ~ EARLY DETECTION ~ INTERVENTION.
Our strategies for educating adults and youth have proven successful. Our healthy lifestyle programs are designed to change behavior by providing a healthier alternative through trainings, interactive workshops, health screenings and products.
