To Incent or Not Incent: Applying the OSHA Employer Safety Incentive and Disincentive Policies and Practices

OSHA has often viewed safety program incentives with trepidation. In fact, the agency issued a memo cautioning employers to avoid employee rewards programs that can discourage reporting of injuries or unsafe workplace practices. Yet many companies still view employee rewards as effective motivators for safety initiatives or production goals. Join us for an analysis of OSHA’s guidelines and the best ways to apply them.
