Global Harmonization System: Preparing Your Safety Managers
Preparing workers to meet the global harmonization system standards (GHS) is possibly the
biggest challenge facing safety and human resources managers this year.
The first deadline requiring employee training on reading GHS-formatted safety data sheets is December 1, 2013, so managers must prepare to transition now. Presented by government and private sector consultants, this session helps managers create effective compliance strategies.
Speakers: Anne Bracker, MPH, CIH, Occupational Hygienist, Conn-OSHA; Denese A. Deeds, CIH, Industrial Health & Safety Consultants, Inc.
- All sessions include: Updates from Carole Briggs, Attorney, Levy & Droney, P.C., and Mark Haskins, Principal Consultant, Practical Safety Solutions, LLC, on the latest developments and enforcement initiatives out of Washington
- New this year: Opportunities to review your company’s greatest safety issues and concerns
- To keep costs down, bring two additional colleagues from your company to any or all sessions at no additional charge.
