This presentation will explain the basic  framework of, and benefits offered through California's Exchange (Covered  California), including timing of enrollment, approved health plans, coordination of enrollment through Certified Enrollment Counselors, and other statewide efforts.

 

10:15 – 11:45 PANEL PRESENTATION: What Employers Need to Know. 

The panel will discuss  the challenges employers currently face with  implementing the ACA employer-shared responsibility rules, and offer practical strategies for compliance. Through a lively and informative discussion, attendees will gain knowledge and insight on how to comply with the ACA and to better prepare and evaluate the way employers deliver health care benefits to their employees in 2014 and beyond.
