Known as The Gas Company for more than 100 years in Hawaii, Hawaii Gas is currently in the process of rebranding its image with the future in mind. Jill Tokunaga, the company's vice president of sales and marketing, shares an informative case study on why one of the state's oldest utility companies decided to go in a new direction and the integrated communications/marketing process established to fulfill their strategic vision.
This program will cover research, planning, execution and evaluation with attendees walking away with valuable insights and best practices useful for campaigns or initiatives in all industries, large or small.
Vice President - Sales & Marketing
Jill Tokunaga is responsible for overseeing the company's utility and non-utility sales strategy and initiatives statewide, and for the Company's marketing and branding. Before joining the Company in October 2008, Jill was Branch Sales Manager for the global telecom giant Sprint Nextel. As Sprint Hawaii's sales manager, she was recognized for her ability to grow the telecom company's general, corporate, and government wireless and wireline business. She was the recipient of the Sprint Nextel President's Club sales award for eight years.

Reservation and Cancellation Policy:
Advance registration will close at 3 p.m. on the day prior to the event. After that, a $5 walk-in fee will apply. Due to out-of-pocket expenses incurred, there is a $5 cancellation fee for reservations made via credit card; no refunds will be issued for cancellations received after the deadline; and no-shows will be invoiced.

Founded in 1947, PRSA Hawaii is one of six founding chapters of the Public Relations Society of America. The chapter's mission is to build value, understanding, and the demand for public relations professionals in Hawaii.
PRSA Hawaii is committed to advancing the standards of the public relations profession and supporting students and young practitioners who are developing skills in the field. Professional development seminars, informational forums, skills workshops, and monthly luncheon programs are offered to over 300 public relations professionals and students across the state.
PRSA Hawaii is a vibrant organization comprised of an active nucleus on Oahu, a progressive affinity group on Maui, and over 100 members across the state. The organization also mentors two Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) chapters at Hawaii Pacific University and the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
