Event Details

Attention homebrewers…come hone your craft at Far Bar LA with the gang from Oregon’s Deschutes Brewery & Angel City Brewery. This is a collaborative event where you'll get to meet brewers from both breweries, sample beer from them side by side & enjoy the beverages paired with small bites.

We will also be giving away a co-branded snifter glass & complimentary brewing supplies including clone recipe booklets and bags of whole flower hops to use in your next homebrew (limited to first 100 visitors total). Take advantage of this opportunity to uncover some brewing mysteries! Try something new in your next homebrew…chat with some brewers, take your photo with Woody & take home some Deschutes swag. See you here!

This is a ticketed event with a portion of the proceeds benefiting "Friends of the LA River" (FoLAR).

$30.00 per person includes beer samples paired with tasty appetizers, homebrew supplies & a commemorative co-branded snifter glass.

For Fellow Explorers Everywhere

Located in beautiful Bend, Oregon, Deschutes Brewery is in the business of daring people to expect more from their beer. That's why we started off in 1988, on the banks of the Deschutes River here in Bend, Oregon, by selling Black Butte Porter at a time when others were sure a dark beer would never catch on. Our brewers love to push the envelope, especially if it makes someone nervous.  But for us, the highest praise is a raised glass and a toast of "Bravely Done!"
