HarvardX Town Hall - Harvard Yard
Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM (EDT)
We are pleased to invite Harvard faculty members, instructors, and the teaching and learning community to a HarvardX Town Hall meeting on course development and research that will take place in Harvard Yard (Cambridge).
Held on Thursday, October 3 at Harvard Hall 202, the main session will run from 4:00-5:00 p.m. and ongoing conversations and networking will happen from 5:00-6:00 p.m.
The Town Hall will be facilitated by Rob Lue, faculty director of HarvardX. A tentative agenda follows:
- Update on HarvardX (new tools, courses, future plans)
- Faculty Insights: Reports from the field
- Group Discussion: How we can best support innovative teaching and learning at Harvard?
- Group Discussion: Course content ideas and modes of assessment (current options and future directions)
