What Could Be Better Than Rejection?
Rejection, when not taken personally, can be instructive and character building. This session looks at the positive side of being out of work, as well as, the personal power you may already be using to confront adversity. Take it from any successful sales rep: Every "No" is one step closer to a "Yes."
Presenter Richard Oberbruner is an inspirational speaker who leads interactive workshops that empower a variety of audiences, especially job seekers. His presentational tool – IMPROV! Oberbruner studied improv at The Second City Theater, The Players Workshop and the Chicago Improv Fest. He empowered hundreds of job seekers at Worknet DuPage and continues to do so for the Community Career Center in Naperville, as well as the Career Stimulus Program at Harper College. He has a BA in English Lit from the University of Wisconsin and has been known to write a witty phrase or two.
