Presenter Chris Selvik has been a sales professional for over 16 years. Having been in transition himself from 2008 to 2010, he understands the challenges of those in transition. During that time, he realized how important it is to embrace those sales strategies that will help a job seeker stand out and better connect with prospective employers. This experience inspired him to write and publish the book, Better Job Faster: Highly Effective Yet Rarely Used Strategies to Win Job Offers.
How often have you heard it said that job search is like sales? Well, it is not “like” sales…it is sales. You can increase your chances of getting a better job faster if you commit to studying, learning and applying the strategies successful sales professional use to win sales. This workshop will focus on rapport building techniques used by sales professionals that you can use immediately to create a stronger connection between you and the interviewer.
