Starting a Business – In this interactive session, you will answer the question “why do you start a business?” You will be advised of the pitfalls and traits necessary to “own” your business. What are your strengths/weaknesses and how do they impact your business? Why you still need “Rand McNally”? Need Funding? Grab your wallet and your car keys. What does the SBA really do? What is cash flow? “Doers and Thinkers”-which one are you? “Cash is King”. Steve Ballmer? Lessons from the “Turbobaster”. “It’s always about the Money!”, Kevin O’Leary?
Presenter Carl Mattes’ 25 years of consulting experience provides a wealth of knowledge to clients in areas of initial investment, funding, choice of legal entity, and creation of a business flowchart. Carl created a unique model of using “reality TV shows” to explain business principles to his clients. He holds a JD degree from The John Marshall Law School and a BA in Economics from the University of Rochester, Rochester, New York.
