Dear Day With Daddy Supporter,
It is with great pleasure that we extend you a personal invitation to attend our 1st Annual end-of-year benefit fundraiser, the HARLEM RENAISSANCE Casino Night & Silent Auction Fundraiser.
The event will be held at Midtown Live Sports Café, Austin, Texas, on Saturday evening, December 28th, 2013, as it promises to be a night of great fun, food, networking, music, and casino gaming excitement!
Why attend Day With Daddy's 1st Annual Casino Night Fundraiser?
Based on the most recent Census Fatherhood Statistics, There are 21 million children in the U.S. that live in single-parent homes.
- When fathers are NOT present, these children are 711% more likely to have children as teenagers, 164% more likely to have a pre-marital birth, and 200% more likely to drop out of high school or end up in jail.
- When fathers are present, a child is 70% less likely to drop out of school and 40% less likely to repeat a grade in school.
A caring father who stays engaged with their child can have a profound impact on the life of his child. Day With Daddy recognize these statistics and that fathers do matter in the lives of children.
Through your contribution, you are helping to raise awareness and funds for Day With Daddy to deliver Fatherhood programs to over 1000 fathers in 2014. Our programs provide education around father empowerment and family strengthening, targeting fathers who are seeking resources to stay engaged in their children’s lives.
Your contribution will directly impact these families and it is our hope that fathers who benefit will pay it forward for the next generation of fathers.
