When & Where
Candeo School Peoria PTO
Candeo is a new public charter school located in Peoria, Arizona. We opened our doors to learning in August 2008 and moved into our new school located at 9965 W. Calle Lejos in Peoria, AZ on March 11, 2009.
ALL children have gifts and talents. Candeo believes it is the responsibility of educators in collaboration with parents to find and nurture them. Candeo (can-DAY-o) is a Latin term meaning "to grow brilliant," and that is exactly what we do! Candeo is a non-profit, Arizona state-approved public charter school serving children in grades Kindergarten through Sixth. We utilize the nationally-recognized Core Knowledge sequence for content and provide evidence-based methods and programs for EVERY child's success.
With an overall classroom student-to-teacher ratio of 25:1 (not including instructional aides or specialty teachers), we offer an exceptional, personal, and caring educational experience for EVERY child. Located in Peoria, Arizona, Candeo educates and nurtures children from Peoria, Glendale, Anthem, Surprise, Phoenix, New River and other cities across the north and west valleys. Our enrollment is diverse in demographical background and ability levels.
