Have you ever wanted to learn CPR and did not need a course completion card?  Then the Family & Friends CPR class is for you.  This interactive class covers all of the latest skills for CPR and choke saving for the Adult, Child, and Infant.  When you finish this class, you'll leave with a sense of satisfaction knowing what to do when someone becomes suddenly unconscious.

This class is for personal knowledge and CPR cards will not be issued.

Alameda County Fire Dept. CPR Outreach

The Alameda County Fire Department serves the cities of Dublin, Emeryville, Newark, San Leandro, Union City, and the communities of Ashland, Castro Valley, Cherryland, San Lorenzo, unincorporated areas of Alameda County as well as the National Labratories of Berkeley and Livermore.  We cover approximately 508 square miles with a daytime population of 394,000 people.

As part of your community, we encourage you to perform Hands Only CPR for anyone who suddenly collapses and is unconscious.  While one might think that they need a CPR class to perform the skill, you actually don't.  Pushing hard and fast in the center of the chest is all that it takes.

As a continued focus of providing outreach to the communities we serve, we will be focusing on community festivals and events for information.
