• Maintain control by managing a reasonable, allowable margin of error
• Taking corrective action with employees as necessary even if often difficult process for managers.
• Receive constructive feedback
• Creating the right process and human relations approach to move people from resistance to relating to their mistakes.
About the speaker:
Diana Lowe is Trainer and Performance Consultant with Dale Carnegie, the only performance-based training company with offices worldwide.
She is also the Vice President of Special Interest Group for American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and Ambassador for the Love at Work Foundation. For the past 8 years Diana has worked and lived in London, Dublin, Melbourne and Tokyo. Besides her love of travel Diana is passionate about helping others achieve confidence through developing and improving upon their people and communication skills. In 2003 she received a BSc in Logistics and International Business. She moved to London and Dublin where she worked in Finance and IT. After winning several London-wide and UK national public speaking competitions, Diana decided to follow her passion in communications training and then founded her own Communications Training Company in London, England. She now calls Austin her home and works with Dale Carnegie.
