With good intentions, many have tried to help people out of poverty by giving them something for nothing. While entitlements may help people survive, long-term use doesn't lead people to independence. At Community Food & Outreach Center (CFOC), we strive to empower those stuck in generational and situational poverty by giving a hand up, not a hand out.

We welcome everyone to join us at the Hand Up Luncheon, where our guests can get acquainted with our mission and the work we do throughout Central Florida. Let Community Food & Outreach Center treat you to lunch and fill you in on all of the wonderful things that have been happening on our campus this year and where we plan to go in the future.
