Welcome to an amazing way to enjoy the ocean and yoga! Join Misako for a Sunday morning workshop of yoga, paddling and a delicious lunch on the beach.
Schedule of events
9am (optional) morning meditation facing the ocean
9:30am: Registration, PaddleBoard Lesson
10am-noon: PaddleBoard Yoga
In a typical SUP Yoga class, instructors will first give a lesson on the beach on how to paddle. After a short warm up of yoga on the beach, instructors and students will take their boards out onto a sheltered bay to practice paddling. After learning how to paddle, the instructor will guide the participants in a safe, sequenced series of yoga postures. You don't have to know how to paddle. Beginners are welcome. Any level of yoga experience is accomodated!
What is included: cost of paddleboard rental, paddle, personal floation device, paddle board instruction, yoga instruction and yummy snacks.
What to bring/wear: On warm days only a swimsuit or swimsuit with rash guard is needed. If you would like us to reserve a wetsuit for you, please email 48hours before event. Bring sunblock, swimgear, sunglasses with strap, water, beachtowel, surfhat (optional).Optionally bring your waterproof camera, but be sure not to drop it if it doesn't float!
