Thinking Development, in conjunction with UCL & UCL Institute of Risk and Disaster Reduction

After reading an emergency appeal from the St. Joseph de Cluny, the largest and most rooted body of educators in Haiti, UCL students and staff came together to design an ambitious, forward-looking development project to help rebuild after Haiti's earthquate on January 21, 2010.

Thinking Development's mission is to gather the intellectual resources of the extended UCL community and our industry mentors to re-design a school, in collaboration with the Cluny network. The site will include a primary school, an adult education centre, and infirmary, a community kitchen and canteen, and a community garden.
