The UCLA Nazarian Center for Israel Studies presents Israel's platinum-selling hip-hop act, Hadag Nahash (fish snake), for a one-night only exclusive performance on February 28, 8:00 p.m. at The Colony, one of Hollywood’s premiere nightlife venues. The band, whose sound is a fusion of hip-hop, rock, reggae, and funk, has shared the stage with The Black Eyed Peas and Cyprus Hill and contributed music to Adam Sandler's film, "You Don't Mess with the Zohan." In 2010, they released their fifth studio album, which racked up three #1 hits and achieved platinum status in Israel. Now the band is lending their unique sound to a star-studded event that will bring together the worlds of Hollywood, the Israeli community, and UCLA to help promote the Nazarian Center's mission to present many different aspects of Israeli culture and society.
**NOTE: Valet parking will be available for $15 in the lot adjacent to the venue. Other public lots also in the area.
Free, round-trip bus transportation will be provided for students. Bus will leave at 7:45 p.m. from the Ackerman turn-around. To reserve a place, please email Maura at email@example.com, and provide your name and contact phone number.
For every ticket purchased, you will be entered into an opportunity drawing for two free round-trip tickets to Israel, courtesy of El Al Airlines!
