The Undergraduate Student Alliance of Computer Scientists at Rutgers will be hosting its annual hackathon “hackRU: A Scarlet Night of Hacking” for the third year in a row!
The event is a 24-hour hackathon. It will begin on October 13th at 2:00pm and conclude on October 14th at 3:00pm EST. We will have several companies presenting their technologies so that students can create original applications in unique and interesting ways. Last year, we had over 150 students in attendance, and we are aiming to double the turnout this year.
This event is open to anyone willing to spend the weekend hacking for honor and glory. There is no limit to the size of a team but remember that the bigger the team, the harder it is to manage a project. We are looking forward to seeing some awesome hacks and some awesome hackers.
