Hackidemia is a mobile invention lab that enables future changemakers to learn about art, technology, and science by making and playing. This time we're all about music hacks! We'll learn how to:
  • Making instruments from everyday objects with Piezo disks
  • Make a drum machine out of bananas and a high-five piano with MaKey MaKey music
  • Basic sampling, recording, and more!
Important note: All kids must be accomanied by a parent or guardian please! Dallas Makerspace's rules.
Every Hackidemia event gives parents and kids the opportunity to:
  • Make new things with new people, and then go home and teach other people
  • Express your imagination and creativity by creating something that lives and breathes in the real world
  • Become part of an international community of makers (for example, our Hackidemics in Romania)
Help us build the new generation of makers! For questions contact .
