Larson Scanner $14.00 Materials Donation
Description: This easy-to-solder kit incorporates 9 large diffused LEDs and an ATtiny2313 microcontroller to create that awesome sweeping light effect from your favorite sci-fi shows. If you do want to do some hacking, though, the source code is available as well as all of the design files.
This is a great kit to get started with soldering because there are no surface mount components, it's also a great way to add blinkiness to your Halloween costume... or, like, you're favorite tie.

Through-Hole Soldering Kit
Description: This is the latest version of our popular through-hole Simon Says Kit. We've made some changes to the board that should make it easier than ever for the beginner to build! When building this kit, you'll have a chance to solder a 28-pin microprocessor, LEDs, battery clips and more.
After you have successfully assembled the kit, you will have a greater knowledge of through-hole soldering and the tools, techniques, and terminology required to populate your own PCB prototype.
