Challenge
Put your sports, theater or music fandom—and your coding skills – to the test by building a new idea that will help us continue to transform the fan experience. Whether you choose to integrate with StubHub or Zvents’ existing API or build an off-platform experience, your goal is to build something cool around event discovery. Combine your coding skills and love of sports and music to make an awesome experience on the web, social or mobile. Use anything out there. Feel free to use whatever languages and tools you’d prefer.

Judging Criteria
Your entry will be given three minutes to demonstrate your finished product. No PowerPoint slides, please. We just want to see your awesome creation! Each entry will be judged on the following criteria:

• Innovation: How unique and innovative is the submission?
• Utility: How useful is the submission to the end user (the fan) for discovering events?
• User Experience: How easy is the submission to use?

Rules
• The development tools, frameworks and application focus are entirely up to the participants. Using StubHub's or Zvents’ APIs is optional.
• Participants are expected to bring all tools and software necessary to build their entry. Organizers will provide food, caffeine, Internet access and power strips but you might want to bring your own as well.
• Employees, contractors, and partners of StubHub are welcome to participate in the Hackathon but are not eligible to receive prizes.
• Participants may work by themselves or on a team.
• Rules are subject to change at StubHub’s discretion.

All submissions must be received by 11:00 am on May 19th. Participants are strongly encouraged to pre-register to ensure enough food and seating. However, participants may join the competition at any time prior to the submission deadline.
