We're having Hackaday's first live party! It's your opportunity to lollygag with other Hackaday readers and a couple of the editors. Come enjoy free food and drink, a t-shirt, stickers, and secret swag -- all ages are welcome. There's probably going to be a few people cosplaying as an Arduino! It'll be awesome.
Hackaday is throwing a bash right in the middle of downtown LA. Finally, you have the opportunity to hang out with the other Hackaday readers and meet the people behind the website you visit several times every day.
You are, of course, invited to bring the projects you're working on for a very informal show-and-tell. This is at a pub though, so try and keep it to projects you can carry in your pocket. The Hackaday crew will be bringing a few homebrew electronics for you to gawk at as well. We'll also have a laser graffiti rig set up in the loft of the space we rented, and a few previews of upcoming Hackaday goings on.
Being the first of its kind event for Hackaday, we shouldn't need to point out we're using this party to gauge interest for other, bigger events in the future. Attending the first Hackaday party means you'll get the scoop on a whole bunch of really cool stuff happening behind the scene and the ability to weigh in on some new additions we're considering for the site.
It's going to be a blast, so you better help us pack the house!
