Want to kick back for some small talk about all things hacking? Join us in Detroit on July 11th. The hackerspace i3 Detroit has graciously offered to host a Hackaday Meetup. This meetup is open to Hackaday readers who are at least 18 years of age.
This isn't going to be just any old Meetup
The folks at i3 have decided to make this a "working" meetup. The equipment will be available for use if you want to work on that project you've been meaning to get started. They do ask that if you decide to imbibe spirits as part of the festivities, you limit yourself to a soldering iron and leave the heavy equipment for those with a clear head.
Bring hardware to show off!
Bring along your smiling face, stories of epic hacks, and hardware to show off if you're so inclined. [Mike Szczys], [Brian Benchoff], and [Chris Gammell] will be in town. We're all prone to become lost in conversation, and we'll make sure to bring along swag to pass out to those who show up.
Nope, since i3 shares the same roof with B Nektar, a Meadery with a legendary reputation, you will be able to acquire mead, beer, and cider. We're also looking into having a modest offering of snacks on hand.
See you soon!
Thanks for registering, it helps us figure out how many hackers are going to show up!
