Want to learn how to add colorful electronics to a costume or clothing item? In this class we’ll use our Arduinos- programmable circuit boards- and newly acquired electronics skills to make intricate, luminous electronic Mardi Gras costumes!
Possibilities include: pulsing rainbow LED wigs, electro luminescent (EL) wire Tron jackets, LED dance sticks activated by accelerometers, glowing goggles, and much more!
This class is intended for artists, hobbyists, or DIY enthusiasts who are interested in learning about electronics, adding electronic bling to a bike or costume, or figuring out what the Maker Movement is all about. Although programming and electronics experience is helpful, this class is designed for beginners who know little to nothing about these subjects.
