Habitat for Humanity 25th Anniversary Community Build It
Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM (EDT)
Join us for an exciting, fun, and worthwhile event to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the affiliate, Habitat for Humanity (HFH) of Madison County, Indiana!
Instead of just having a party, HFH of Madison County wanted to bring the community together on a project to demonstrate exactly what they do. On Saturday, May 18th from 8:30 am to 12:30pm--we will build a Habitat House frame as a group in the parking lot of First United Methodist Church on the corner of 12th and Jackson in downtown, Anderson.
The event is free and it includes lunch! Bring the whole family (ages 6 and up), your work organization, youth groups and organizations, to work with a team leader on a piece of the hous frame. No need to have building or construction experience, HFH will have helpers along side each group. We also need volunteers in other areas as well, like the registration table, etc.
Together we can make safe and affordable homes for Habitat Partner Families who want to grow and bloom in our county. Helping these families helps all of us as a community!

Madison Co HFH is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged.
