"Currency" is the 2nd episode of our 3-part HUNGRY TALKS series. Our February talk debuted to a sold-out audience, asking: "Mission or Mania: What Drives Pioneers of Change?"
When & Where
Presented by St. Vincent Meals on Wheels (stvmow.org).
HUNGRY is presented by St. Vincent Meals on Wheels (stvmow) and made possible by the support of The Gas Company. Founded in 1977, STVMOW serves approximately 4,000 meals a day, making it the largest privately-funded organization of its kind nationwide. Annually, over 1 million meals are prepared and delivered to homebound senior citizens, disabled and terminally ill patients, and homeless adults and children. It additionally provides support to hunger programs administered by the Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles, the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center and other adjacent Meals on Wheels programs. STVMOW is committed to keeping in step with the growing needs of seniors, whose population is expected to triple in LA County by 2030. www.stvmow.org
