GVWP Demonstration Labs for Teachers, 2013 – Choose A Site!
Great Valley Writing Project at California State University Stanislaus is offering five classroom demonstration labs where teachers will be able to observe and discuss highly effective instructional practices that motivate students to write, revise, edit, and publish.
In GVWP Demonstration Workshops, teachers read well-respected texts, discuss ideas, and observe expert teaching strategies modeled with REAL students in our workshop classrooms. Teacher Consultants from Great Valley Writing Project will help teachers understand and address California's Common Core State Standards by modeling instructional practices that engage students and promote interdisciplinary learning.
As an added bonus, the children of participating teachers receive free registration at the workshops that accompany each course! (Click here for detailed information about GVWP Writing & Technology Workshops for K-12 students.)
Detailed information is provided for each of our "Demo Lab" programs—just follow the links below.
