In this exclusive class, Pastry Chef Keli Fayard will bring back a classic--The Barbie Doll Cake! Keli will share her knowledge on how to crumb coat a dress cake and cover it with rolled fondant. She will also give helpful tips on how to decorate using various piping tips. Each student will take home his/her own fully decorated Barbie Doll Cake. No previous experience necessary.
One of Chicago's own celebrity chefs, Keli Fayard is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, has worked as a pastry chef across the country and co-owns Vanille Patisserie in Chicago. She has twice been featured on The Food Network's Cake Challenges. Her shop is famous for high quality, authentic French pastries.
