Share GTM Research Reserve Marineland Lecture

Event Details

This program is one of an ongoing lecture series held on the third Tuesday of the month at the GTM Research Reserve office in the Town of Marineland. The series is designed to help inform the public about their coastal natural world. These events are FREE; however, space is limited so reservations are requested. Reservations can be made online or by calling 904-823-4500. Please arrive about 5 minutes early to get good seating.

Tuesday, March 17, 2015, 10-11 a.m.: Mat Monroe, outreach coordinator for the Northeast Florida Aquatic Preserves will discuss, "Oysters in Our Back Yard: Community Oyster Shell Recycling and Living Reef Restoration." 

Tuesday, April 21, 2015, 10-11 a.m.: Joe Burgess, herpetologist and resource management coordinator at the GTM Research Reserve will discuss, "Snakes! How to Shed Your Fears."
