Event Details

Have you wondered what the differences are between Greek and Italian oregano, French and English thyme, German and Roman Chamomile, Spanish and French lavender, lemon balm and lemon verbena, sweet marjoram and Za'atar? Jody will bring these and many more culinary, medicinal, botanical, and tea herbs from her garden to sample and learn to grow, harvest and use. Join us to see how even a small herb garden will enhance our lives and the lives of our gardens. Everyone will plant herb seeds and take home cuttings. Container gardening with herbs will be covered. Jody is a local food and garden writer, educator, and consultant. She manages ongoing organic veggie, herb, berry, and container gardens at private residences.
