Slow Food Indy is delighted to present this class in collaboration with Maggie Goeglein of Fall Creek Gardens and Julie Iverson, Master Gardener and Fall Creek Gardens volunteer.
Maggie will lead students through a 90-minute course designed to give you all the info you need to plant a small salad garden anywhere you have room - in your backyard, on your deck or patio or even on a windowsill.
Designed with city-dwellers in mind, this class was made for container gardening - from flower pots to raised beds.
Learn how to direct seed lettuce, herbs, flowers and greens that will result in a delightful homegrown salad.
Registrants should bring something to take notes with.

Slow Food Indy
Slow Food is an international grassroots membership organization promoting good, clean and fair food for all.
We envision a world in which all people can access and enjoy food that is good for them, good for those who grow it and good for the planet.
Slow Food Indy celebrates the amazing bounty of food that is available, and is working to strengthen the connection between the food on our plates and the health of our planet.
