Join American Legion Auxiliary Unit 1 in DC and AmeriCorps Alums DC Chapter to welcome World War II veterans to DC with Honor Flight at Reagan National Airport!
Honor Flight gives veterans the opportunity to fly to Washington, DC, to see the monuments that are dedicated to them, including the WWII Memorial and other monuments on the Mall. Honor Flight is a nonprofit that raises money so veterans can make the visit for free.
We will be getting Gate Access Passes to meet them at their gate and welcome them to DC for their visit. Include your name as it is listed on your government issued photo ID.
Everyone is welcome to join us! Be sure to invite your family members, friends, and co-workers! This is a great event to bring your kids to!
Note: You must sign up on Eventbrite to attend the event and get a gate access pass. Each person who is attending must have their name and birthdate submitted for TSA.
Registration will close on Wednesday, May 15 at noon! Additionally information will be distributed after registration closes.
