Event Details

Early registration is now closed, but you can arrive early at the tour starting point (see below) to buy a ticket on-site (few are left so arrive early). 

Or, join us for our FREE wrap-up party at 3:30pm!  Mingle with the building experts and owners from the day's tours, green building experts, and the general public.  The wrap-up party will also feature performances by Orkestar Slivovika and the B:C:Clettes, and even some double-dutch for those feeling jumpy!  The Deputy Mayor of Vancouver will be welcoming everyone with a few words on sustainability and green jobs in Vancouver.
The party will be located near the new pedestrian bridge on the new section of the seawall, just west of the Southeast False Creek site.

Come mingle with the day's tour guides, green building experts, and Green Skyline attendees at our wrap-up party.  The general public is also invited to this party, as it's free to attend!  There will also be performances by Orkestar Slivovia and the B:C:Clettes, and even some double-dutch for those feeling jumpy. It will be located beside the new pedestrian bridge on the new seawall to the east of the Southeast false creek building site.

Green Skyline '09: Tour the future of the built environment

Bike with us on Cascadia’s third annual tour of innovative green buildings throughout Vancouver.

Green Skyline showcases sustainable building achievements and provides the public an opportunity to see a variety of ways in which buildings can achieve LEED and other high performance standards. You'll be able to take with you a better understanding of innovative green features and systems.

Tours of residential buildings will be held in Vancouver on the afternoon of Sunday, September 27th.

Also join us for our free wrap-up party from 3:15-5:00!  Mingle with the building experts and owners from the day's tours, other green building professionals, and the interested public.  The wrap-up party will also feature performances by Orkestra Silvovika and the B:C:Clettes. It will be held on the Southeast False Creek Seawall beside the new pedestrian bridge, just west of the Athlete's Village.

The Thompson Okanagan Cascadia regional chapter was created in 2006, providing a collaborative network for industry professionals and community leaders who share a commitment to the principles of sustainable development in the Thompson-Okanagan.
