Greetings, fellow GreenDrinkers!
As we approach the year's hottest temperatures, Chad Franer, Director of Horticulture at the Indianapolis Museum of Art has some seasonally valuable information to share at our June GreenDrinks Indy event:
Tuesday, June 12, 6 p.m.
Indianapolis Museum of Art
4000 Michigan Road, Indianapolis
Meet in the Madeline F. Elder Greenhouse parking lot at 6:00 p.m. Chad will lead us on a tour of their rain garden and discuss several drought tolerant plants "suitable for purchase" -- if you get my drift! The Greenhouse will have special extended hours specifically for greendrinkers!
Our annual IMA grounds tour is always one of our best attended GDI events, and this year promises no exception. But, as always, to add a little more "soc" to our evening's pleasure, Black Acre Brewery of Irvington will offer us "tastings" of their product. Very appropriate, because these folks are hosting our July event!
