When & Where
Green Destination Orlando
Green Destination Orlando evolved from the US Green Building Council's Hospitality advocacy Committee. This group of industry professionals developed the designation now known as Green Destination Orlando. This designation, branching off of the LEED criteria is designed to create A total sustainable EXPERIENCE- from the moment a visitor arrives in Orlando, to the transportation, from their stay at local lodging, to their daily activities (be it a conference or family vacation), and all the way back home - a complete loop that never breaks- a total sustainable EXPERIENCE.
The goal of this organization is to be a catalyst to help hoteliers, restaurant owners, transportation companies, theme parks, etc to learn about operational efficiency and grow towards a more sustainable future.
